Welcome, ElkStone Basement Clients!
We are very excited to work with you to finish – or furnish! – the basement you’ve always wanted! As long-time friends and colleagues of ElkStone Basements, we are proud to be their preferred reclaimed wood vendor providing barnwood shiplap and wallboard, doors, mantels, beams, and shelves.
Our experience working with ElkStone Basements ensures that your experience will go well! Your ElkStone team will install any standard Reclaim Renew products, and we will work closely with them on your timeline.
Since our rustic lumber is reclaimed from real, old barns (we don’t manufacture this wood, it’s the real deal!) it will have knotholes, nail holes, saw blade marks, weathering, and sometimes even paint, cracks or scorch marks. This is what makes barnwood beautiful! Without these naturally occurring characteristics, you don’t have the authentic product we promise. The wood is treated to remove anything undesirable.
We have a Colorado Warehouse for quick delivery of your gorgeous renewed barnwood products. In many cases, we can send you photos of the actual barnwood product you will receive so you can see it’s natural beauty and unique variations.

Barnwood Wallboard
Our mission is to reclaim decades (even centuries) old barnwood and renew its story as barnwood wallboard – wood that was used to shelter and protect those living within its walls before it came to us. When these barns or shelters are no longer needed for their original purpose, but still clearly have lots of life left in them, we select the boards and beams we believe our clients would love to incorporate into their own homes and stories. This gives our wood both modern and vintage appeal, creating texture, visual interest, and beautiful depths of color to any space it occupies!
All our barnwood is processed through a kiln to make sure it is thoroughly dry and insect-free. Our wallboard is then run through a horizontal bandsaw to create wood pieces between 1/4 and 1/2 inch thick. This makes each piece light and easy to handle. It also creates a smooth backside for easy adhesion to walls or surfaces. The boards are cut to varied lengths and bundled together based on width. Each bundle is roughly 3, 4, 5, or 6 inches wide.
How to order our wallboard: Measure the surface of your wall by multiplying the width of the wall by the height. This will give you the square footage needed to cover your space. We strongly suggest that you order about 10% more than the size of the surface you are covering. The minimum quantity is 50 square feet; the price is $10 per square foot.
Contact us for orders over 500 square feet for special shipping and pricing options.

Mantels
A barnwood mantel gives your fireplace an even warmer welcome and invitation to gather with the people (or books!) you love. As with our shelves and beams, our mantels are created hollow, giving them a much lighter weight and less complicated install application. Our standard lengths are 5, 6, or 7 feet long. For finishes, please select light, medium or dark. Examples of these finishes and how they look on different types of wood are shown.
Barn Doors and Hanging Hardware
They may be aged, but they are the most popular kids on the block these days! Sure, there are knock-off made from plywood, but for those looking to install a true barnwood door made in the USA from barnwood we gather ourselves in the MidWest, look nowhere else. The stories these doors tell become conversation pieces with all your guests. They come in various finishes so contact Sunnie to view our latest Colorado inventory. Door sizes are 38″ X 83″ and come with hardware sourced by the best in the industry – made specifically for authentic barn doors. You can rest assured your doors will glide smoothly and hang securely as gorgeous entry points to any room you choose.
Floating Shelves
Minimal and rustic, yet absolutely stunning accents that elevate the beauty of their surrounding finishes as well. Floating shelves add texture, functionality, and a modern flair to any space you have, including fireplaces, kitchenettes, bathrooms, and living spaces. A cost-effective way to get a real bang for your buck.
Beams
Our hollow barnwood beams are crafted with such precision that it is virtually impossible to realize they are not solid. As with our mantels and floating shelves, our beams are assembled and delivered ready to install. We have many lengths ready to be stained and delivered. By building lap joints into our beams, we can customize the length to fit your ceiling snugly from end to end.
